Muleteer Culture Tour
Concepción is one of those towns, one of the few that still remain, it has an authentic village flavor in every sense of the word; Its simple people still possess the customs of their elders and make this place an oasis of peace and tranquility. Here its colorful facades and cobbled streets surrounded by green mountains stand out. From a distance, you can see its classic tile roofs, and large houses built in the paisa style.
During the tour we will visit some of the most emblematic places of the muleteer culture, such as the Museum of the Muleteer Culture, where you can learn about the history of the muleteers and their importance in the region. We’ll also visit some of the oldest muleteer farms in the area, where you can get an up-close look at traditional coffee farming and production methods, and meet some of the muleteers who still live in the region.
In addition, the tour also includes a delicious lunch at one of the farms, where you can try some of the most authentic dishes of the region, such as the famous bandeja paisa.
